IMTEX 2023

The 20th edition of IMTEX organized by IMTMA was held from 19th to 25th January at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. It is one of the largest in South and Southeast Asia exhibitions focusing on machine tools and manufacturing technologies. The mega event attracted visitors from a wide spectrum of manufacturing and ancillary industries including key decision makers and policymakers as well as industry leaders who were keen to source the latest technologies and manufacturing solutions for their products.

  • The exhibition was held in an area of 77,000 sq.m. in 5 Halls. 
  • Attracted more than 96,000 Visitors. 
  • A total of 991 Exhibitors participated from 23 countries. 
    (Namely Australia, Austria, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UK, and USA.
  • 5 Dedicated pavilions were built for countries namely Germany, Korea, Spain, Taiwan, and USA

The trade fair supported Digital Manufacturing, the future of manufacturing is all about automation, of the digitalization of workflows. Sensors, robots, software, cobots – all connected seamlessly will be on display across the aisles. Companies can procure technologies that go beyond Industry 4.0. 

Digital manufacturing is also synonymous with additive manufacturing / 3D printing. The concept first came to light at Hannover Messe in 2011 and has since then been spawning a revolution in the way products are manufactured by setting up “Smart Factories”.
